Dear Members of the St. Louis Community,
Today, we celebrate freedom, resilience, and the rich history of African American culture: Juneteenth. Juneteenth is a celebration of the long way we have come, of progress, and of the potential we have as a nation for change. Granted, certain chapters of our history are painful, and the African-American story of freedom has many sad tales. Yet, our belief in change that can make a difference is relentless: it is inspired by the noble-minded principles upon which our nation is founded. As we celebrate Juneteenth as a manifestation of progress, we remind ourselves that there is much more to do as a nation to make equality and justice for all a tangible reality, a fact on the ground.
To the vibrant and diverse community of St. Louis, congratulations on this important day! Let us honor the past, celebrate the present, and look forward to a future filled with unity and progress.
Together, we are stronger. Happy Juneteenth!

أعزاءنا أعضاء مجتمع سانت لويس،
اليوم، نحتفل بالحرية والصمود والتاريخ الغني للثقافة الأمريكية الأفريقية: Juneteenth.
Juneteenth ان
هو احتفال بالطريق الطويل الذي
قطعناه، وبالتقدم، وبالإمكانات التي لدينا كأمة من أجل التغيير. لا شك أن بعض فصول تاريخنا مؤلمة، وقصة الحرية الأميركية الإفريقية تحتوي على العديد من الحكايات الحزينة. ومع ذلك، فإن إيماننا بالتغيير الذي يمكن أن يحدث فرقًا لا هوادة فيه: فهو مستوحى من المبادئ النبيلة التي تأسست عليها أمتنا. وبينما نحتفل بيوم “Juneteenth” باعتباره مظهرا من مظاهر التقدم، فإننا نذكر أنفسنا بأن هناك الكثير الذي يتعين علينا القيام به كأمة لجعل المساواة والعدالة للجميع حقيقة ملموسة، وحقيقة على أرض الواقع.
إلى المجتمع النابض بالحياة والمتنوع في سانت لويس، نهنئكم بهذا اليوم المهم. دعونا نكرم الماضي ونحتفل بالحاضر ونتطلع إلى مستقبل مليء بالوحدة والتقدم.
